About Me

I am Renee and I am ready to get healthy. The most important thing to me in my weight loss journey is to feel strong and healthy again. I seriously feel like my body is made of jello. I use to be very athletic and fit but over the years I slowly stopped exercising.

To start I just want to put down some of my goals (for the first 90 days)

1. I want to loose at least 20 pounds
2. Go down at least one pant size
3. Stay positive and be proud of whatever progress I make
4. Finish p90x
5. Don't obsess!! (only get on the scale and measure myself every 30 days)
6. Keep a food journal/log (to help me eat healthier)

I really want to do this for myself. I have spent alot of time in the past 5 years taking good care of my kids...well trying to take good care of my kids and hubby. I feel like it is time to take better care of myself and spend some time doing something I want to do. I always had several excuses in my mind of why I don't have time to work out. Thing is.......I will ALWAYS have excuses. I don't want to let those excuses stand in my way anymore!!!

I am super embarrassed to post all of this info here but I decided it is not where I start that counts it is where I finish. Plus my hope is that by making this information public I will be even more motivated to change and stick with it.

For now I will just be focused on the first 90 days and getting through the p90x workouts. I want to use this blog to vent and complain and celebrate my victories.

This week I worked out everyday. I am sooo tired and sooo sore. It is kicking my butt to get up before my kids so I can fit my workout into my day. I hope my body will get use to this change over time. Next week I need to go to bed earlier and get more sleep. I am so excited that I started p90x I have been wanting to try it for a long time. YEA FOR ME!! YEA for Cashelle she stuck to her calorie count the last 2 days!! She is awesome!! YEA for Annie who is doing p90x with me. Last thanks to my hubby who got the kids breakfast ready a few days this week so I could finish my workouts. :)
